--- ## Default sort order of the data From this release, you can set a default sorting of the data displayed in the Issue Matrix. In the configuration, there is a new **Sort By** section with a list of sortable custom fields. Choose the custom fields that will serve as sorting criteria, save the configuration, and that’s it. Next time you open an issue, you’ll see the data in the Issue Matrix ordered by default per the chosen sorting custom fields. Only the headers of sortable custom fields are clickable. In addition to that, you can revert the default sort order quickly without leaving the current issue view. So, when you open the configuration and navigate to the Type section, you can type a JQL query in the Filter JQL section. You can use our [JQL Extension](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IMC/pages/227903145) in the query. With that query, you’ll further filter what data will be displayed in the Issue Matrix panel.
