# Overview

This page provides migration support details for the Clone Plus for Jira app from the Data Center to the Cloud.

Use the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant app to migrate your Clone Plus for Jira global app configurations and clone properties file configurations as required.

For more information on the JCMA app, refer to Atlassian’s [Jira Cloud Migration Assistant](https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/use-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant-to-migrate-from-server-to-cloud-993925215.html) page.

## Prerequisites

- Ensure that the latest version of Clone Plus for Jira and Jira Cloud Migration Assistant is installed on the Data Center instance.
- Ensure that the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant is installed on the Data Center instance from which you intend to migrate the Clone Plus for Jira app configurations.
- Comment out any custom clone operations from the clone properties file in the Data Center instance if you do not intend to migrate the respective clone operations to Cloud. Refer to the [Clone properties](https://appfire.atlassian.net/l/cp/MTZ1VhAs) page to learn more.

> 📝 - When you migrate clone configurations from the same Data Center instance to the Cloud **more than once**, the clone operations are duplicated in the Cloud instance after the latest migration.
> 📝 - When you migrate clone configurations from multiple Data Center instances to the same Cloud instance, multiple default clone operations (or multiple clone operations with the same name) are shown on the Cloud. To avoid confusion after migration, have unique names for clone operations before migration.
