You can set certain project roles, priority, fix versions, and so on, to specific values while cloning an issue. 

# Prerequisite

Ensure your administrator has selected the required set fields while creating a clone operation. For example, consider **Assignee** and **Priority** set fields. For more details, refer to the [Clone Plus for Jira configuration - Cloud](https://appfire.atlassian.net/l/cp/XBWMc9AB) page.

# Steps

1. Select an issue you want to clone in your Jira instance. For example, consider an issue with the **Assignee** and **Priority** fields as shown in the following image.
2. In the top-right corner, select **Actions ** > **Clone Plus*** *option or the **Clone Plus** quick-add button for any issue.
3. On the *Clone Plus for Jira *page, select the clone operation and other values as required.
4. Click **Clone**.
5. On the *Create issue *page, select values for all the issue fields as required.
6. Click **Create**.  
A successful issue creation message is displayed and the parent issue is cloned as configured.
