### To add the Previous Status condition, follow these steps:

1. Click the Jira cog icon > **Issues **>** Workflows**.
2. After finding the workflow, go to the three-dots icon and click **Edit**. Navigate to the transition of your workflow.
3. Switch to the **Conditions** tab.
4. Click the **Add condition **button.
5. <span style="color: #000000">Select </span><span style="color: #000000">**JEP - Previous Status Condition**</span><span style="color: #000000"> and click the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Add**</span><span style="color: #000000"> button.</span>
6. <span style="color: #000000">Fill in the configuration screen:</span>
  - <span style="color: #000000"> Select the status to restrict that issue which should be in this status </span><span style="color: #000000">**any time before**</span><span style="color: #000000"> in order to allow the transition.</span>
  - <span style="color: #000000">Enable the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Look for just before current status**</span><span style="color: #000000"> option, if you want the most recent status to be the same as the selected one. For instance, if this option is enabled and the </span><span style="color: #000000">**In Review**</span><span style="color: #000000"> status is selected, the issue's most recent status should be </span><span style="color: #000000">**In Review**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to allow the transition. Otherwise (if the option is </span><span style="color: #000000">**not**</span><span style="color: #000000"> enabled), it is OK to be in the </span><span style="color: #000000">**In Review**</span><span style="color: #000000"> status any time before this transition.</span>
7. <span style="color: #000000">Click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Add**</span><span style="color: #000000">, and you’ll be redirected to the </span><span style="color: #000000">**Conditions**</span><span style="color: #000000"> list.</span>
8. <span style="color: #000000">Don’t forget to click </span><span style="color: #000000">**Publish Draft**</span><span style="color: #000000"> to publish the workflow and save your changes.</span>
