### Account portal notification settings

You can use our advanced user notifications screen to manage your notifications even more granularly. This screen gives you more control over the exact events that trigger notifications.

### Notification events

Advanced notification settings allow you to control the specific events you want to be notified about regarding the different types of issues in Jira.

1. Locate the issue type column on the screen you want to change.
  1. Assigned, Created, Watched, or Mentions.
2. Choose the actions you want to be notified about and disable the ones you don't want to see.
3. **Save** your settings.
