### Assign from the view dialog

1. Click **View** on a message.
2. Find the **Assign** header under *Actions*.
3. Choose the **user** you want to assign the issue to.
4. Assign the issue.

### Assign with the command line

1. Navigate to the *Apps* section in Slack.
2. Click **Jira Integration+**.
3. Type the keyword `assign`.
4. Type a Jira `issue key` (example: DEMO-124).
5. Mention the user to whom you want to assign the issue with the @ pattern.

### Set the Assignee field to Unassigned with the command line

1. Navigate to the *Apps* section in Slack.
2. Click **Jira Integration+**.
3. Type the keyword `unassign`.
4. Type a Jira `issue key` (example: DEMO-124).
