# Platform Release - JMCF for Jira Data Center 2.5.0

**Release date**: August 22, 2024 



## Jira 10 Support!

> ⚠️ **Note**: This release is for Jira 10 compatibility only! If you are still on Jira 9, you will not have access to this version.

**JMCF for Jira Server** is now compatible with Jira 10! This update also includes Java 17 compatibility. 

There are no new features or enhancements in this release.

## Breaking Changes

> ❌ **Note**: This release drops support for **Jira 7** and **Jira 8**! Per Appfire policy, only Jira 9 and Jira 10 are supported moving forward.
