## Verify the installation

<span style="color: #333333">After you install the add-on, to verify that the installation was successful, follow these steps:</span>

1. Go to the **Administration** icon > Macro (inline-media-image)

 and click on it.
2. Locate **Add-ons** from the menu and click on it. Click on **Manage Add-ons.**
3. Under** **the** User-Installed Add-ons*****, ***you should be able to see the** ***Jira Misc Custom Fields *add-on* *as shown in the image below.> Macro (inline-media-image)

## Perform a Re-index

After successfully installing the add-on Jira prompts you to perform a Re-index <span style="color: #333333">as configuration changes were made</span>. To perform a re-index:

1. Go to the **Administration** icon > Macro (inline-media-image)

 and click on it.
2. Click on **System**.
3. Click on **Indexing** displayed in the left panel.
4. Select either of the re-indexing options and perform a re-index.
