# Feature Release - JMWE for Jira Data Center 9.0

**Release date**: August 22, 2024

# Jira 10 Compatibility!

> ⚠️ **Note**: This release is for Jira 10 compatibility only! If you are still on Jira 9, you will not have access to this version.

**JMWE for Jira Data Center** is now compatible with Jira 10! This update also includes Java 17 compatibility.

There are no new features or enhancements in this release.

## Known Issues

After upgrading to **JMWE for Jira Data Center 9.0**, the **Add to Shared Extension** button will no longer be available when editing an extension from within the Workflow editor. 

This feature will be re-enabled in a future release. 

## Breaking Changes

> ❌ **Note**: This release drops support for **Jira 7** and **Jira 8**! Per Appfire policy, only Jira 9 and Jira 10 are supported moving forward.
