## Improvements

The following improvement is available in this release:

- **Cloud migrations to Forge**: This is the first version of JMWE for Jira Data Center that supports Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) migrations to JMWE for Jira Cloud on the Forge platform. Later versions support migrations to Forge only.

> 📝 To check which platform your cloud site uses, look at the JMWE version on your cloud site. Version 5.0.0 and later run on Forge, and earlier versions run on Connect. If your site still runs on Connect, use JMWE for Jira Data Center 9.4.1 or earlier to run your JCMA migration.

## Bug fixes

The following issue is fixed in this release:

- **Set issue fields post-function**: The **Run as** user setting now applies when the post-function runs inside a shared action that an event-based action calls.

## Security and maintenance

This release includes the following security improvements:

- **Send email post-function**: The post-function no longer sends technical error details to recipients when field values contain unexpected path characters.
- **Dependency updates**: Updated third-party dependencies to address reported vulnerabilities.
