The  API Explorer  lets you browse all of the Jira API endpoints that are available to you through the JavaScript console. Endpoints are displayed in standard Swagger format, and can be browsed using the left-hand panel. Search for a specific method using the search box at the top of the list. Click an to expand it and see its details, including actions, parameters, and return types. Additionally, the required OAuth scopes are listed. Lastly, implementation examples are also provided. When you locate the API you want to use, select it and click  Add to code editor  to add a code snippet of that API’s implementation to your script. Figure - API explorer
