# New features

### AI-powered estimation with Appfire AI

We are excited to announce that Agile Poker’s Interactive sessions just got smarter with AI-driven insights that help teams estimate faster and more accurately.

> ℹ️ This feature is enabled by default and is currently in beta. Try it now and [let us know](https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/700473/agile-poker-for-jira-planning-estimation?tab=reviews&hosting=cloud) what you think!

#### **What’s new?**

- **AI-generated insights**: AI scans issue summaries and descriptions to highlight potential risks, dependencies, and related issues, helping your team get full context before estimating.
- **Smart estimate suggestions**: AI reviews past estimations and historical data to recommend a realistic effort estimate for each issue.
- **Two AI-powered modes for flexibility:**
  - **Manual mode (default)**: Moderators can click **Ask AI** when they need insights.
  - **Auto-trigger mode**: AI automatically generates suggestions when an issue is selected, streamlining the estimation process.

> ℹ️ **Learn more:** Check out the [documentation](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/JPP/pages/1831666368) for full details.

#### **How to use it**

1. In your **Interactive session**, select an issue.
2. Click **Ask AI** (or let AI trigger automatically).
3. View AI’s response, including **risks, recommendations, and suggested estimates**.
4. Discuss with your team and finalize your estimate!

#### Data privacy

We take data security seriously. Here’s what you need to know:

- **Your data is never used to train AI models**. Neither Appfire nor Microsoft stores your data.
- **All data is encrypted**. Every request is securely transmitted and processed.
- **AI respects user permissions**, which means it can only analyze information that users already have access to.
