> ## Description
>
> The **User Is In Any Roles** condition checks that the current user is in any one (not all) of the specified project roles.
>
> > 📝 There is a User Is In Any Role condition included in Jira; however, this only verifies the user's membership in a single project role.
>
> ## Configuration
>
> You must specify the prerequisite roles for this transition when configuring the check. For example, *Administrators*. Select the role from the list of available roles, then select **Add**.

>
> For information on how to configure a check for a workflow transition in Jira, see Atlassian’s [Advanced Workflow Configuration](https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/advanced-workflow-configuration-861253591.html) documentation.
>
> ## Example
>
> A workflow is configured so that the Resolve transition has the User Is In Any Roles condition set to the SuperUser project role only. A user viewing an issue in that workflow will not see the Resolve transition unless they have the SuperUser project role.
