This article provides an overview of differences in the LaTeX Math Lite app as we adopt [Forge Runs on Atlassian](https://www.google.com/url?q=https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/marketplace/runs-on-atlassian/%23runs-on-atlassian&sa=D&source=calendar&ust=1753016150920767&usg=AOvVaw2QFYR6LZPruowVvcwij8vc).

## Benefits of running on Forge

Some of the key benefits of adopting Forge include:

- Enhanced data privacy for customers by using Atlassian-hosted compute and storage.
- Matching data residency that supports the customer’s host product to ensure compliance.
- Full control of data egress, allowing customers to monitor and block all data egress.

## Differences between Connect and Forge versions
