While the scan runs, Bulk Converter searches the job’s scope and reads pages it’s permitted to access. The screen displays the following information:

| Progress bar and percentage | Displays the current scan progress. |
| Activity log | Timestamped messages, including batches processed and pages found. |
| Stop scan | Stop the process after the current batch finishes. |

During this step, the app uses Confluence search and page APIs to find pages that likely contain competitor macros, then builds the data for your **Pre-Migration Report**. Restricted or inaccessible pages are skipped or flagged, and they won’t display as convertible content.

## Expected duration

Small pilots may finish in minutes. Large scans that include many spaces or thousands of pages can take much longer. You can close the browser and return to the scan from the **Dashboard** > **View details**.

When the scan completes successfully, the wizard advances to the **Pre-Migration Report,** and the Dashboard status transitions to **Saved**, indicating the scan is complete and ready for review.

## **Stopping, resuming, and retrying** **the scan**

| Stop scan | Cooperative stop: current batch completes, then job shows a status of **Stopped**. |
| Resume scan | Continue from a saved checkpoint; remains on the report screen. |
| Retry scan | Available for some failed jobs when the error allows for a retry. |
