You can add the [Page Approval](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PAFS/pages/472154971) macro to a page to require approval from another Confluence user.

> ℹ️ This macro enables page approval for an individual page. If you need to set page approval for all pages in a space, you have to enable it in Space settings. See [Page Approval Space Settings](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PAFS/pages/472154765) for more information.

On a page, you want to require approval

- Add the **Page Approval macro** by typing /page approval

**Save **the page to add the default **Page Approval**, without any approvers.

Or, choose **Edit** to open the macro editor to configure your approval
