### <span style="color: #333333">Adding Power Custom Field</span>

<span style="color: #333333">To add the Calculated Power Custom field, perform the following steps:</span>

1. <span style="color: #333333">Go to</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> Apps </span>**<span style="color: #333333">→ </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Power Custom field </span>**<span style="color: #333333">→</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> Configuration page </span>**<span style="color: #333333">→ click </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Create Calculated Field. </span>**

2. <span style="color: #333333">Input the name of your field.</span>
3. <span style="color: #333333">Select the type of </span>**<span style="color: #333333">field calculation</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> from the dropdown list.</span>

4. <span style="color: #333333">You have two options where the calculation can be displayed.</span>
  1. <span style="color: #333333"> In the </span>**<span style="color: #333333">new </span>**<span style="color: #333333">custom field. For this, no further actions are required. The field will be created automatically when you click </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Create.</span>**

  2. <span style="color: #333333">In the </span>**<span style="color: #333333">existing</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> custom field. As an example, you may see a sum of story points for Issues under the Epic in the native Jira field 'Story Points'. To do this, bind your calculation to the field from the dropdown list as pictured.</span>

5. <span style="color: #333333">You are able to add the Calculated Power Custom field to the desired screen directly on the Configuration page. Just click '</span>**<span style="color: #333333">not assigned'</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> in front of the field.</span>

6. <span style="color: #333333">Select issue screens where you want your field to be visible and click </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Update</span>**<span style="color: #333333">. </span>

7. <span style="color: #333333">Another way to add the field to the Jira project, go to </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Settings</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> → </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Issues</span>**<span style="color: #333333"> → </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Custom Fields, </span>**<span style="color: #333333">find</span><span style="color: #333333"> your field and click </span>**<span style="color: #333333">Associate to Screens.</span>**

<span style="color: #333333">As a result, you will have the Calculated Power Custom field on the selected screens, and users will be able to see it on the glance panel in the ticket.</span>

> ⚠️ <span style="color: #333333">Due to Jira Cloud architecture, you have to modify an Issue and reload the page to start or update the calculation. </span>


### <span style="color: #333333">Removing Power Custom Field</span>

<span style="color: #333333">You can disable the </span><span style="color: #333333">Power Custom Field</span><span style="color: #333333"> calculation or remove it on the Configuration page. </span>

> ℹ️ <span style="color: #333333">Notice that the field will be visible on the Issue glance panel even after disabling or removing it until you remove it from the associated screen.</span>
