<span style="color: #333333">Request questions feature allows you to define questions that must be answered when a trusted user requests a new project. These help you understand and analyze the project requests better.</span>

> ℹ️ <span style="color: #333333">These questions are added to project requests of all project templates. </span>

# <span style="color: #333333">Add new question</span>

1. <span style="color: #333333">Select </span><span style="color: #333333">*Apps *</span><span style="color: #333333">from the </span><span style="color: #333333">*Settings menu (*</span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #333333">*) *</span><span style="color: #333333">on the top right corner.</span>
2. <span style="color: #333333">Navigate to </span><span style="color: #333333">***DELEGATED PROJECT CREATOR > Project request settings***</span><span style="color: #333333"> in the left sidebar to view the </span><span style="color: #333333">*Configure Project Request Settings*</span><span style="color: #333333"> page.</span>
3. <span style="color: #333333">Select the </span><span style="color: #333333">*Request questions *</span><span style="color: #333333">tab.</span>

4. <span style="color: #333333">Provide values to the following fields:</span>
  - <span style="color: #333333">*Question*</span><span style="color: #333333">: Enter a relevant question that helps you know more about the project request.</span>
  - <span style="color: #333333">*Type*</span><span style="color: #333333">: Select a question type from the following available list of options to answer:</span>
    - <span style="color: #333333">*Text*</span><span style="color: #333333"> (single line text entry)</span>
    - <span style="color: #333333">*Text box*</span><span style="color: #333333"> (multi line text entry)</span>
    - <span style="color: #333333">*Select*</span><span style="color: #333333"> (dropdown)</span>
  - <span style="color: #333333">*Values*</span><span style="color: #333333">: Specify a value for the respective question. </span>
    - <span style="color: #333333">For </span><span style="color: #333333">*Text *</span><span style="color: #333333">and </span><span style="color: #333333">*Text box *</span><span style="color: #333333">question types, the specified value becomes the default value. </span>
    - <span style="color: #333333">For </span><span style="color: #333333">*Select *</span><span style="color: #333333">question type, the specified values are displayed as options to select from the drop-down. Specify each value in a separate row (a new entry into the list).</span>
  - <span style="color: #333333">*Required*</span><span style="color: #333333">: Turn this toggle </span><span style="color: #333333">*Off*</span><span style="color: #333333"> to make the question optional for a trusted user to answer while submitting a project request. By default, this toggle is </span><span style="color: #333333">*On *</span><span style="color: #333333">making it mandatory for the trusted user to answer.</span>
5. <span style="color: #333333"> Click </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #333333"> to add the new entry to the page.</span>

<span style="color: #333333">Use drag and drop (</span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #333333">) to rearrange the order of request questions. The same order is reflected in the </span><span style="color: #333333">*[Request New Project](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PCFJ/pages/717750689)*</span><span style="color: #333333"> screen.</span>

# <span style="color: #333333">Edit an existing question</span>

<span style="color: #333333">In the </span><span style="color: #333333">*Request questions*</span><span style="color: #333333"> tab, click </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #333333"> next to an existing question to edit the respective question within the row and click </span><span style="color: #333333">**Update **</span><span style="color: #333333">to save your changes.</span>

# <span style="color: #333333">Delete an existing question</span>

<span style="color: #333333">In the </span><span style="color: #333333">*Request questions*</span><span style="color: #333333"> tab, click </span>> Macro (inline-media-image)

<span style="color: #333333"> next to an existing question to delete the respective question.</span>
