Power Salesforce Connector is a free app that comes together with any of our paid Power Portfolio apps like Power Scripts™ for Jira, Power Actions™, Power Database Fields PRO™, Power Custom Fields PRO™ and so on. Once you have any of these plugins installed, Power Salesforce Connector is a great addition to the family to help you with convenient and pain free integration to Salesforce.

Before you install Power Salesforce Connector, ensure that you have either of the power apps installed.

# Installation Notes

Power Salesforce Connector packages together the following Jira apps:

1. <span style="color: #333333">SIL Engine™ — library with utility functions and the SIL™ language parser</span>
2. Power Salesforce Connector app — contains the necessary functionality

SIL Engine™ is shared across our Power Portfolio products. If you disable or uninstall it, the functionality built on top of it will stop working. SIL Engine™ is also published on the [Atlassian Marketplace](http://marketplace.atlassian.com/), and we recommend that you install updates compatible for this app as soon as they appear.

# What should I do if I installed an incompatible version?

1. [Uninstall Power Salesforce Connector](https://confluence.cprime.io/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=32816227).
2. Uninstall the SIL Engine™ app.
3. Install the version of Power Salesforce Connector that is compatible with your Jira version. Ensure that you use the OBR file you downloaded or use directly the UPM search and install feature (recommended).
4. SIL Engine™ should now have the right version as well.
