> [Display the ranking of sales representatives sorted by value/number of closed deals and its comparison with the previous period of time](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RDD/pages/199721928)

## Overview

A Leaderboard is a valuable tool for **tracking and promoting top performance** among sales representatives. It displays a ranking of sales reps based on key metrics such as total value of closed deals and number of deals closed, which can help motivate reps to strive for higher performance and provide visibility into who is achieving the best results.

> ℹ️ This gadget works with monday.com Sales CRM but also with [monday.com](http://monday.com) Work Management if you use the [Basic CRM template](https://monday.com/templates/template/81773/basic-crm).

Additionally, the Leaderboard can help identify trends and areas for improvement within the sales team, such as** identifying reps with skills or approaches that contribute to their success, or identifying reps who may need additional training or support**. It can also encourage healthy competition and foster continuous improvement within the team.

This gadget shows the ranking of sales representatives based on the total value and number of deals they have closed, and how it compares to the previous period.

## Configuration

Name your gadget meaningfully, so everyone knows at a glance what it is about and when to use it. Fill out the rest of the fields as applicable, namely:

- The **datasource**, indicate the monday.com account where you want to fetch the data from.
- The **workspace** and the **board** where the deals are located. The workspace has to be from monday.com* sales CRM*, and the board *Deals*.
  - The **filter** for the board items. You can filter the items of the Deals board using the filtering mechanism, the selected values will be the ones displayed in the chart.

- The **Filter by deal date**, select the period of time during which the deals to be displayed occurred.
- The **Sales goal**, to set the* value of closed deals* that each sales rep has to hit in the selected period of time.
- The **Deals goal**, to set the *number of closed deals* that each sales rep has to hit in the selected period of time.
- Finally, indicate if you want to use the current settings for all the compatible gadgets in the dashboard. This option eases the pain of configuring one by one the rest of the gadgets with the same default configuration
