Video transcript: Dashboard Hub comes with over ninety gadgets, and we’re adding new ones all the time. That’s a lot of choice. So the gadget selector puts the most popular and newest gadgets at the top, but let’s look at how to find exactly what you need in seconds. Start with the question you’re trying to answer and notice who’s asking it. The gadgets you select tell a story. Are you building an internal dashboard, or one you want to share with other stakeholders? Your delivery team asks: “How’s my sprint doing?” — that’s Sprint Health. “Where are my epics stuck?” — Progress Tracker.  A support manager asks: “Are we meeting our SLAs?” — SLA by Project. “Are we closing tickets faster than they come in?” — Created vs Resolved. “And how has that changed over time?” — Historical Insights. Or, a manager just wants the one number that matters — a Formula Card.  So start with the question, and you’ll know which gadget you need.” If you need a head start on a particular Jira theme, you can always use one of our dashboard templates for Agile, IT service management, DevOps, and more, each one already filled with the right gadgets for that use case.  Because the catalog keeps growing, we surface two kinds of gadgets at the top of the list. The ones marked “TOP,” in yellow, are what teams reach for most. The ones marked “NEW,” in blue, are our latest additions, the fastest way to spot a feature you didn’t know we’d shipped.  To further refine the list of gadgets, use the left sidebar to filter by where the data comes from — “Atlassian” for everyday Jira and Service Management gadgets, “Appfire” for apps like BigPicture, or Time to SLA, or “Custom Reports” for data from outside Jira. And if you know the name, just search — type “S-L-A” for example, and there’s everything you need. A gadget can have one datasource, but your dashboard can include data from multiple datsources, both Cloud and Data Center, as well as connecting to anything through REST API. You can restrict the list of available gadgets to only those that have a compatible datasource set up, or you can add the datasource later.  And if you’d rather build a dashboard by selecting multiple gadgets at once, use the select multiple option, then configure each one separately, or use the same configuration for all applicable gadgets. Choosing the gadget is half the job — the other half is getting the answers to the right people. If it’s your team, they’ll see it live on the dashboard inside Jira. If it’s a leader who won’t log in, put a Formula Card on a dashboard and share it, or create a subscription for them. They get the number, without distractions. And if it’s someone outside Jira entirely, you can share a dashboard with a secure public link. When one of the ready-made gadgets doesn’t show your data exactly the way you want it, reach for Jira Custom Charts or Jira Custom Segments. They’re the most flexible — you choose the data and the chart type, from pivot tables to line charts, bar charts, and pie charts, so you can build precisely the view you’re after.
