# Project dashboards

Project dashboards are automatically generated for every space (project), giving teams instant visibility into space-specific reports. These dashboards are populated with gadgets tailored to the space type, including dedicated dashboards for Software and Service Management.

The first time a user opens Dashboard Hub from a space, the app automatically creates and loads the dashboard in the **Dashboard Hub** tab. The space owner is assigned as the default dashboard owner.

# Gadgets

> Macro (excerpt)
>
> Gadgets are small components on a dashboard that visually transmit data through graphs, tables, images, and text.

It is important to choose the right visualization metaphor to represent your data in the most meaningful way and communicate the intended information to your audience.

To choose the appropriate gadget, you need to:

- Identify your metrics, KPIs, or problem to solve.
- Identify your audience.
- Select the relevant gadget to display on your dashboard.
