This page will guide you through the process of installing Reporting for Confluence Data Center.

## Installation

| **Method** | **Details** |
| --- | --- |
| Installation using an Atlassian license (a license bought through the Atlassian Marketplace). | 1. Log in to your Confluence instance as an administrator.
2. Go to the top right of the page and select **Administration **( ⚙️ )** **>** Manage apps**.
3. Click the** Find new apps **link.
4. Search the Marketplace to locate the *Reporting for Confluence *app. The appropriate app version appears in the search results.
5. Click **Try free **to begin a new trial or ** Buy now **to purchase a license.  
You're prompted to log in to *MyAtlassian *to begin the download.
6. Enter your information and click ** Generate license **when redirected to* MyAtlassian*.
7. Click** Apply license**.  
If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Confluence instance. |

## Frequently Asked Questions

<summary>Why is my app installation taking a long time?</summary>

This may happen if you have a large instance, and it may also happen if you are upgrading from a previous version. We advise you to wait it out, especially if your instance contains large amounts of data.

<summary>What if the Confluence Instance can not access the Atlassian Marketplace?</summary>

<u>[MyAtlassian](https://my.atlassian.com/products/index)</u> is a site to managing your Atlassian-related licensing and orders. If you have a valid license for the designated app, the license key is stored on MyAtlassian.

Copy the license key and manually paste the key into the Universal Plugin Manager:

1. Go to the top right of the page and select **Administration **( ⚙️ )** **>** Manage apps**.
2. Expand the app details.
3. In the *Licence key* field, click **Edit**, paste the license key, and click **Update**.
