## Introduction

The *Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards* app provides new gadgets (Rich Filter Gadgets) that allow users to build highly interactive and personalized [Jira dashboards](https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracoreserver/configuring-dashboards-939937983.html). The Rich Filter Gadgets bring a lot of new functionality to the Jira dashboards: dynamically change the data displayed by the dashboard, highlight and color-code issues, define and display computed fields, build statistics and charts based on issue fields and/or user-defined criteria, define and display multiple personalized views for an issue collection and more. All these features completely redefine the experience related to using Jira dashboards.
