The issues displayed by the *Rich Filter Results* gadget can be modified in bulk directly from the gadget. The **Bulk change issues...** () button is located on the gadget footer. This lets you edit, move, transition, delete, watch, or stop watching multiple issues in one operation.

1. Click the **Bulk change issues...** button to go to the *[Bulk Operation](https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver073/editing-multiple-issues-at-the-same-time-861256360.html)*[ screen](https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver073/editing-multiple-issues-at-the-same-time-861256360.html).
2. Select the issues you want to work with and click **Next**.
3. Select the operation you want to perform and click **Next**.
4. Define the details for your operation and click **Next**.
5. Click **Confirm**.

## Bulk change limits

By default, Jira limits the maximum number of issues that can be bulk changed to 1000 to prevent server overload. This limit can be modified by [editing the configuration settings](https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/advanced-jira-application-configuration-861253983.html) or your Jira instance. The property limiting the number of issues that can be bulk modified is `jira.bulk.edit.limit.issue.count`.
