## Installation and upgrade

The app can be installed from the Atlassian Marketplace or the **Find new add-ons** page of your Jira instance.

Please make sure you follow the instructions below before and after installing / upgrading the **Rich Filters::Service Desk Dashboards** app:

- **Before installing** *Rich Filters::Service Desk Dashboards,* you should ensure you have a compatible *Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards* app version already installed and licensed. To find the compatible *Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards* versions, look at our [compatibility matrix](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RFSD/pages/802881676) between *Rich Filters::Service Desk Dashboards* and *Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards*.
- **Before upgrading** *Rich Filters::Service Desk Dashboards* – it is preferable to first upgrade the *Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards* app to the latest version.
