Appfire QueueZero is an AI-powered Jira app that helps you move work items from planning to implementation. It uses content from connected code repositories and knowledge sources to:

- Generate an implementation plan.
- Execute the approved plan.
- Create a pull request for review.

The standalone QueueZero platform is the primary interface. From there, you can manage work items, run planning and execution sessions, and review activity logs and cost information.

> 📝 This page and the remainder of this section detail the use of QueueZero’s standalone interface. The overall steps and most of the features available in standalone are also available through the Jira companion app; see [Using QueueZero in Jira](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3672605602) for more information about connecting the two systems.

## QueueZero panel tabs

There are six primary tabs available to developers, with a seventh tab available to Space admins and Org admins; this last tab reports on usage associated with the planning and execution of that work item. Most of these are also available in the Jira companion app. Each of these is covered in detail in subsequent pages:

- **Details –** Shows the details of the work item.
- **[Governance](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3641376826)** - *Standalone app only. *Code verification status based on your [organization guardrails](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3641376799) or [space guardrails](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3668738179).
- **[Plan](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3158507969)** - Generate an execution plan using your team’s chosen AI model and review that plan.
- **[Execution](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3166273540)** - Monitor and review the execution details of QueueZero's solution.
- **[Refine PR](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3519873356)** - *Only visible when a PR has been generated. *The process of improving generated plans and pull requests by adding or updating context from knowledge sources, code repositories, or feedback.
- **[Cost/Cost Analysis](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3258745145/Monitoring+QueueZero#Cost-analysis)** - Review AI usage for the work item. Usage is typically shown in tokens; organizations using their own AI provider may also see estimated monetary costs.
- **[Logs/Activity Logs](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3258745145/Monitoring+QueueZero#Activity-logs)** - Token use for each step of each activity QueueZero undertakes.

## Env Grounding status

After a resolution finishes, the work item Overview shows whether the changes were verified with Env Grounding.

If verification was not completed, QueueZero explains why and may provide an action you can take:

- **Env Grounding was not enabled** — Select **Enable** to open the repository settings and set up Env Grounding.
- **The environment build failed** — Select **Fix environment** to open the repository settings and rebuild the environment.

A resolution can still complete successfully and create a pull request without Env Grounding verification. These messages indicate the verification status of the changes; they do not mean the resolution failed.

For resolutions that use multiple repositories, verification may succeed for some repositories and not others.

To enable or troubleshoot Env Grounding, see **[Set up Env Grounding](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/RS/pages/3624304708)**.
