This page contains step-by-step instructions on how to set up Resolver, which is an AI-powered Jira Cloud app for indexing and summarizing documentation from Confluence, GitHub, and other sources to generate implementation plans from work items. 

## Before you begin

- You must be a <u>[Jira administrator](https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/managing-global-permissions-776636359.html)</u> to carry out the instructions on this page.
- Browser requirements for Resolver match the relevant Jira requirements. See the <u>[Jira Supported Browser page](https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/supported-browsers-744721663.html)</u> for the version of Jira you are using.
- You need a license for Resolver. You can use a free Evaluation license for 30 days. Learn about our <u>pricing tiers</u> in our Marketplace listing.

## Install Resolver for Jira Cloud

1. Log in to Jira as a Jira administrator.
2. On the *Atlassian Marketplace*, type Resolver in the search field and press **Enter**.
3. Click **Resolver**.
4. Click the **Try it free** button to install your app.
5. Choose a site to start your free trial.
6. Click **Start free trial**. A confirmation message displays once it installs successfully.
