To add a knowledge base article to your system, create a page using the [knowledge base article template](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCAFC/pages/1991377515) as a live template.

## Prerequisite

You must have edit permissions for the Confluence space.

## Guide

1. Create a page and give it a descriptive title.
2. Insert the **Scaffolding -** **Live Template** macro.
  The *Insert Scaffolding - Live Template Macro* dialog opens.
3. From the **Template name** dropdown menu, select the template with the Scaffolding form for your knowledge base articles** **and click** Insert**.
4. Publish the page.

You created a page that contains the Scaffolding form from the knowledge base article template.

You can now fill out the Scaffolding form to [add content to your knowledge base article](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCAFC/pages/1998357308).
