After [creating knowledge base articles](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCAFC/pages/1992098135) using the template, you may need to update the template to reflect new requirements or improvements. Because your knowledge base articles use the template as a live template, any updates to the template are automatically applied to all articles.

## Prerequisite

You must be a space administrator to view the *Space settings* menu.

## Guide

1. Go to **Space settings **>** Look and feel **>** Templates** and open [the knowledge base article template](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCAFC/pages/1991377515) in edit mode.
2. Select the Scaffolding - Field Group macro and click **Edit** (:edit-pencil:).
3. Modify the Field Group macro.
  1. Add a section titled `Contact info` and drag a Paragraph field within it.
  2. In the *Summary* section, modify the table labels by changing *System* to `Operating system`* *and *Version* to `Version affected`.
4. Click **Save** to save the Field Group macro.
5. Click **Save** to save the template.
6. Open a knowledge base article that uses the template.

The changes you made to the template are automatically reflected on the page that uses the template, without the need to edit the page individually.

7. Click **Edit content**, fill in the newly added **Contact info** field, and click **Publish.**

> ✅ You can manage tens or even hundreds of pages by applying changes to the template alone.
