After [creating a page from the knowledge base article template](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SCAFC/pages/1992098135), add content to your article by filling out the Scaffolding form.

## Prerequisite

You must have edit permissions for the Confluence page.

## Guide

1. Open the page in view mode and click **Edit content** in the top-right corner of the Field Group macro.
The Scaffolding form opens in edit content mode with the *Publish *and *Close *buttons.
2. Fill in the **Summary **field to briefly describe the purpose or content of the knowledge base article.

> ✅ The Paragraph field editor supports most features from the standard Confluence Cloud editor, including fonts, text color, lists, links, and more.

3. Select an option from the **System **dropdown menu.

> ✅ The *System* cell uses a dropdown menu with labels based on the Dropdown List field in the template.

4. Fill in the Version number. As you configured the field earlier in the template, it accepts only numbers.

> ✅ The *Version *cell accepts only numeric input because it uses a Numbers field in the template.

5. Fill in the rest of the fields as needed and click** Publish**.

The Scaffolding form saves your data on the page.

To update the page or add more data, click** Edit content** again at any time.
