## Create a form from the Field Group Introduction template

1. In page edit mode, add the **Scaffolding - Field Group** macro.
  
2. In the macro editor, click **Templates **in the top-right corner.
  
  The *Templates *library opens on the left side. It includes a search bar for finding templates by keyword and lets you preview a form by hovering over a template.
3. Select the **Field Group Introduction **template.
  
  The template form loads into the macro editor.
4. Review the example form structures and the input fields in the template.

5. Optionally, modify the form. You can:
  - Edit and add content to try out the rich editor.
  - Click an input field and modify its settings to see the available options.
6. Click **Insert **in the bottom-left corner to insert the macro with the form.
7. Optionally, insert one or more Field Group macros on the same page.
8. Publish the page.

## Fill out the form

In page view mode, each Field Group macro displays with the* Edit content *button, which lets you add or edit the data in the form.

1. Click **Edit content** in the top-right corner of the macro.
  
  The macro opens in edit content mode.
2. Fill in one or more input fields.
  
  In content edit mode, the *Publish*, *Discard draft*, and *Close *buttons appear in the top-right corner.
3. Click the **Publish **button to save the data you entered in the form.  
The saved data now appears on the page.
