## Prerequisites

You must be:

- an admin of the Confluence Cloud instance
- either
  - a technical contact
  - or billing contact of the Confluence Cloud instance

To verify

- login to [MyAtlassian](https://my.atlassian.com/?__hstc=72543820.478060a5fed2e79d90b59818d9cb19af.1442576901450.1537763892331.1537767376646.2083&__hssc=72543820.14.1537767376646&__hsfp=4166081072)
- ensure the Confluence Cloud instance appears in the **Licenses** page

## Guide

To download and install the app

- choose on the Confluence icon in the top-left corner

- go to **Apps > Find new apps**

When the **Find new apps** screen loads

- locate Security and Encryption for Confluence Cloud

> ℹ️ You may have to omit the term "Cloud" from the search to find the app.

- choose
  - **Install**
  - or **Free Trial** if the app requires a paid license

> ℹ️ If the app requires a paid license, you will be provided with a minimum of 30-day free trial.

- select **Close** in the **Installed and ready-to-go** dialog box
