This article explains the process of uninstalling the Source Editor for Confluence app.

> ❌ - Uninstalling the app will result in an error on the page where the macro was used.
> ❌ - If you no longer want to use the app but still have pages that use the app's macros, you must first remove the macros from the pages.

To uninstall Source Editor for Confluence, perform the following:

1. Go to **Apps **>** Manage apps***.**** ***The *Manage apps* page displays.
2. Search for *Source Editor for Confluence* or select the app and click the** > **(expand). The details of the app display.   
(Optional) The following steps apply if you are using a trial:
  1. Click **Stop trial**. A confirmation window displays.
  2. Click **Unsubscribe**. The *App feedback* window displays.
  3. Specify a reason why you want to uninstall the app. This will help us to serve you better.
  4. Wait for a few minutes, and your app will be unsubscribed.
3. Click **Uninstall**. A confirmation window displays.
4. Click **Uninstall** **app**. The application is uninstalled.

> ✅ If you have already uninstalled the app, you must temporarily install it and select **Try it free** until the macro is removed from the pages.
