## Enhancements 3.7.0 release

This release includes the following enhancements:

### Edit page source in ADF (JSON) or Storage (XHTML)

Source Editor for Confluence now supports editing page source in both Atlassian Document Format (ADF/JSON) and Confluence Storage (XHTML).

Use the format toggle in the toolbar to switch between formats. Loading, previewing, and saving all use the selected source format. New editing sessions open in Storage (XHTML) by default, and the editor remembers your last selected format.

### Protect unsaved changes when switching formats

Switching source formats reloads the page from Confluence.

If you have unsaved changes, the editor displays a confirmation dialog so you can either:

- **Switch format** and discard your unsaved edits.
- **Keep editing** and remain in the current format.

This helps prevent accidental data loss while changing formats.

### Validate ADF documents before saving

When editing in ADF mode, Source Editor validates your document before previewing or saving.

Validation detects:

- Invalid JSON syntax.
- Invalid Atlassian Document Format documents, including schema validation errors.

Validation messages identify problems so you can correct them before saving the page.
