Consider deleting an OKR when it meets any of the following criteria:
- No longer relevant. It is complete, obsolete, or no longer requires historical tracking.
- Duplicate or error. It was created by mistake; removing it keeps the workspace clean.
- Archived project. It belongs to a legacy initiative that has been retired or replaced.
- Strategic shift. High-level priorities have shifted, making the goal completely misaligned.
## Delete OKR
> 📝 - When you delete a parent OKR, you can delete all its child OKRs as well.
> 📝 - When you delete a Key Result, you will also delete its progress that counts toward completing the parent OKR. Consider [closing it](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918800058) instead.

### Overview page
1. Click **More actions** (**…**) next to the OKR.
2. Select **Delete**.
3. Click **Delete** to confirm deletion.
### OKR details side panel
1. Click **More actions** (**…**).
2. Select **Delete**.
3. Click **Delete** to confirm deletion.
### OKR details page
1. Open the dropdown under **More actions** (**…**).
2. Select **Delete**.
3. Click **Delete** to confirm deletion.
### Tree view page
1. On the OKR you want to delete, click **More actions** (**…**).
2. Select **Delete**.
3. Click **Delete** to confirm deletion.
