## Challenge 1 - Strategic prioritization

> 📝 **Priorities module documentation → **[https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918504313](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918504313)** **

*As a Portfolio Manager, I need a streamlined way to prioritize strategic initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals.*

[Step-by-step instructions:]

1. Open a box with tasks in scope. If you are working on a sandbox provided by Appfire, select **SAFe ART (Smart house)**.
2. Select the **Priorities module** from the module switcher.
3. The Priorities module displays a task list on the left and a list of metrics on the right.
4. Use the **Issue Type** filter to narrow down a list of visible tasks. For example, you can filter tasks by epics. If your project doesn’t have epics, select another issue type.
5. To customize a template, click the **Customize **button.
6. Select the **RICE template** from the dropdown menu.
7. Click** Save changes**. Once saved, you’ll return to the task list.
8. Complete all metrics for a selected epic. The **Priority score** will be calculated automatically.
9. Provide metrics to calculate the Priority score for at least three epics.
10. You can track your priorities from other BigPicture modules. Switch to the **Gantt module**.
11. Select **Priorities** from the column view dropdown menu. This is a predefined template to track your task priorities.
12. Now, sort tasks by the Priority score column to see the most important epics on the top of the Gantt structure.

## Challenge 2 - Enterprise objectives management

> 📝 **Objectives and Key Results module documentation →** [https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918405440](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918405440)

*Theme: “As a PMO, I want visibility into how our key objectives are being met across portfolios, ensuring all teams are aligned with our strategic goals.”*

[STEP-by-step instructions]

1. Find a box that has some issues in scope. If you are working on a sandbox provided by Appfire, please select “SAFe ART (Smart house)“.
2. Go to the new **OKR module**.
3. Create a new Objective, add a sub-objective, and create a Key Result. While creating a Key Result, select the **Linked issues** feature under KR **Progress to automatically calculate progress**.
4. Link at least one Jira Issue to your Key Result. You can do this during or after the KR creation process from the KR creation screen.
5. Go to the **Gantt module** and select “Objectives and Key Results” predefined column view.
6. Optional (preferably to do on the sandbox instance or a new box): Enable the **Objectives and Key Results** **structure builder** on Gantt.

*(NOTE: Currently, this only works when one Jira Issue is linked to only one Key Result. When one Jira Issue (e.g., Initiative or Epic) is linked to multiple Key Results, it will only be displayed once on the Gantt Work Breakdown Structure, giving the inaccurate impression that it is only linked to one work item. We are aware of this limitation, and it is a subject for future improvement.)*

See the video about the Objectives management in the OKR module.

## Challenge 3 - Financial management

> 📝 ** Financials module documentation → **[https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918633194](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918633194)** **
