# Manual assignment (old navigation)

## Board module

### Assign Jira issues to a team

Go to the Board module to assign a Jira issue to a team.

1. Go to the Jira issue in the **Backlog** of the **Infobar** panel.
2. Inline edit the **Team** column view and choose a team.

### Assign basic tasks to a team

To assign basic tasks to a respective team:

1. Go to the basic task in the **Backlog** of the **Infobar** panel.
2. Choose a team by inline editing the **Team** column view.

## Resources module

To assign unscheduled tasks to a respective team:

1. Find a task on the timeline.
2. Choose a team by inline editing the **Team** field in a detail view window.

## Built-in field

You can also add the **Team** column to your column view:

1. Go to the module and click the **+** icon.
2. Add the built-in **Team** field to your column view.
3. Double-click on the field to open the drop-down menu and select a team. Only teams added to a box are available.

1. Go to the BigPicture task in the **Backlog** of the **Infobar** panel.
