## About the Scope module

The **Scope module** is a customizable task list. It lets you freely [arrange columns](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918504788), switch between views, and show aggregated values. Double-click on a column's edge to adjust its width to the longest record in the current view.

You can also [edit task details inline](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918637324) and [export](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BTc/pages/3536519213) the view for reporting.

The module's key features are the multi-level hierarchies, quick filters, and [advanced aggregation](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918636993).

See the video to learn more about the module.

## Available features

| **Feature** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| [Add task](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918800322) (+) | Use this option to:
- Create new tasks and subtasks as Jira issues and [basic tasks](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DLP/pages/297702042).
- Import tasks from a file (requires the BigTemplate app).
- Clone the existing scope.
- Access the [https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918634319](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918634319) page. |
| Data | Add the following features to all tasks within the box scope:
- [Organize tasks](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918667546) - changes the order of the tasks in all the users' views in an ascending (A-Z) or descending way (Z-A), based on the fields added as columns in the current column view.

| Sort by | Sort your task tree in an ascending (A-Z) or descending (Z-A) order based on the fields added as columns in the current column view. Unlike the [Organize tasks](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918667546) option, sorting does not affect other users' views. |
