# Risk register general settings (old navigation)

## About general settings
On the **General settings** page, you can customize each risk register by editing its name and owner and selecting which issue types are included.
1. From the** Risk management** module, click the risk register name.
2. Click the **Settings** button.
3. Switch to the **General settings** tab.
## Risk register attributes
The table presents a list of risk register attributes you can edit from the **General settings** tab.
| **Risk register attribute** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | Change the risk register name. |
| **Owner** | Change the risk register owner. |
| **Issue types** | Update selected issue types. They will be visible in the risk register.
> ๐ If an issue type is highlighted in red, itโs unavailable in selected projects.

| **Action progress (Mitigation links)** | You can track your progress against the risk and mitigation plan. Issues linked with the selected link type are considered in the Action progress column in the risk register.
Example:
The mitigation links are set as `is related to` and `is mitigated by`.
The **Action progress** column displays the progress of issues that are linked using the `is related to` and `is mitigated by` relation types.

2. Select **Configuration** from the dropdown menu.
3. Switch to the **General settings** tab.
## Risk register attributes
The table presents a list of risk register attributes you can edit from the **General settings** tab.
| **Risk register attribute** | **Description** |
| --- | --- |
| **Name** | Change the risk register name. |
| **Owner** | Change the risk register owner. |
| **Jira work item types** | Update selected work item types. They will be visible in the risk register.

| **Action progress (Mitigation links)** | You can track your progress against the risk and mitigation plan. Issues linked with the selected link type are considered in the Action progress column in the risk register.
Example:

The **Action progress** column displays the progress of work items that are linked using the `is mitigated by` relation type.
