Regular OKR updates keep teams aligned, help track progress, flag challenges early, and keep focus on Key Objectives, boosting accountability and performance. 

However, sometimes your recent update might be outdated or contain an error. In that case, you can easily edit or delete it to keep your OKRs current and accurate.

## Edit OKR update

### On the OKR details panel

[The ](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918865686)[OKR details panel](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918865686) displays a chronological list of updates made to the selected OKR.

The updated status/progress reflects the changes, but the original update date stays the same. The OKR details panel will not indicate that the update was edited.

1. Click the **Load more updates** link.
2. Next to the update, click **More actions** (**…**) to open a dropdown.
3. Select **Edit**.
4. Make the changes on the OKR update screen.
5. **Save** to finish the process.

### On the OKR details page

The Status changes section on the *[OKR details](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918536390)* page displays a chronological list of updates made to the selected OKR.

The updated status/progress reflects the changes, but the original update date stays the same. The edit date will appear next to the update.

1. In the **Status changes** section, click **More actions **(**…**) to open a dropdown.
2. Select **Edit**.
3. Make the changes on the OKR update screen.
4. **Save** to finish the process.

## Delete OKR update

You cannot delete updates auto-generated by the OKRrobot and API. Also, once you delete an update, you cannot undo this action.

### On the OKR details panel

The OKR details panel displays a chronological list of updates made to the selected OKR.

1. Click the **Load more updates** link.
2. Next to the update, click **More actions** (**…**) to open a dropdown.
3. Select **Delete**.
4. **Confirm** to finish the process.

### On the OKR details page

The status changes section on the OKR details page displays a chronological list of updates made to the selected OKR.

1. In the **Status changes** section, click **More actions** (**…**) to open a dropdown.
2. Select **Delete**.
3. **Confirm** to finish the process.
