## Overview

Regular OKR updates keep teams aligned, help track progress, identify challenges early, and ensure continuous focus on Key Objectives, boosting accountability and performance.

However, sometimes, your recent update might be outdated or contain an error. In that case, you can easily [edit](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918669695) or [delete](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918408286) it to keep your OKRs current and accurate.

This page focuses on deleting OKR updates.

## Delete OKR update

You cannot delete updates auto-generated by the OKRrobot. Also, once you delete an update, you cannot undo this action.

### On the OKR details panel

The OKR details panel displays a chronological list of updates made to the selected OKR.

1. Select the OKR to open the details side panel.
2. On the details panel, click the **Load more updates** link.
3. Next to the update, click **More actions** (**…**) to open a dropdown.
4. Select **Delete**.
5. **Confirm** to finish the process.

###  On the OKR details page

The status changes section on the OKR details page displays a chronological list of updates made to the selected OKR.

1. Click the OKR link to open its details page.
2. In the **Status changes** section, click **More actions** (**…**) to open a dropdown.
3. Select **Delete**.
4. **Confirm** to finish the process.
