OKR AI helps you generate Key Results quickly and with less manual effort. Based on the Objective’s summary and description, it suggests up to five relevant Key Results you can edit, refine, and create in one go.

> 📝 - AI generation is one of several methods to [create your Key Results](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/2324726248).
> 📝 - Each user gets 1,000 AI credits per month, renewed automatically on the 1st. If your credits run out, the feature is temporarily disabled until your balance refreshes. Mouse over the OKR AI to check your balance.

## How to use OKR AI

### OKR AI splash screen

Once you create a new Objective, you will land on the *Tree view* page.

If you created an Objective on your first visit after the OKR AI was enabled, you will see a splash screen asking you to review [Appfire’s EULA](https://appfire.com/eula).

Click the **Close** button when ready.

### Suggest key results

> 📝 - If there are several OKRs on the *Tree view* page, select the relevant parent Objective. OKR AI turns gray when you select a Key Result.
> 📝 - You can use the OKR AI feature for new and existing Objectives (with or without KRs) at any time on their *Tree view* pages.

1. On the *Tree view* page, you can ask the OKR AI to suggest Key Results by clicking the:

- **Suggest the key results** button under the Objective (or the OKR tree if you created several OKRs already)
- **Suggest the key results** option on the context menu (click the **plus** button next to the Objective)

2. Once you click **Suggest the key results**, the AI takes a few seconds to analyze your Objective and then returns a list of suggested Key Results.

3. Review the suggested KRs.
  1. If you are happy with the results, check the KRs you want to add. When you check at least one KR, the **Create KRs** button turns blue, allowing you to create the selected KRs.
  2. If the results are close to what you want, you can fine-tune them:
    - click the KR summary to edit it inline.

You can stay on the *Tree view* page to generate more ideas, add new OKRs manually, or click **Finish & go back** to return to the Overview page.
5. The new KRs are visible under their parent Objective on the *[Tree view](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918801711)*, *[Overview](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918834317)*, and *[Hierarchy](https://appfire.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/SPM/pages/1918669889)* pages.
