# Symptoms

One or more SQL Macro returns the following error:

org.postgresql.util.PSQLException:
ERROR: permission denied
```

## Cause

<span style="color: #333333">The database user associated with your Data Source does not have permission to the database or table.</span> 

## Resolution

<span style="color: #333333">Provide the user with the appropriate permissions.</span>
