Since you need full permission when copying attachments with CMJ, you have to copy attachments directly inside the destination Jira’s attachments folder, inside a temporary folder.

When copying a project’s attachment folder, you have to copy this folder from your source Jira and paste it into your destination Jira inside a folder similar to`apps/shared/jira/data/attachments/temp` or a similar temporary location in your destination Jira that is fully accessible by Jira, and then select `/apps/shared/jira/data/attachments/temp` as you attachments folder in the CMJ deployment screen. If you get any errors when selecting the folder, you can remove details from the beginning of the folder path, as CMJ uses Java API, and it can reach the folder differently depending on your Jira installation.

As an example, if you want to migrate Project A (Project Key PRJ-A), you need to copy the whole PRJ-A folder inside the attachments folder in your source instance.

Afterward, you have to copy this folder to your destination instance and place it in a temporary folder inside the default attachments folder destination. The route should look as follows:

`/apps/shared/jira/data/attachments/temp/PRJ-A`

When deploying the snapshot file, in the Deployment screen, when asked to input your temporary attachments folder location, you should use the following folder:

`/apps/shared/jira/data/attachments/temp`

This will allow the deployment to continue as expected with the attachments loaded. Afterward, you can delete the temporary folder.
