## Summary

This article addresses an issue where the **Set Issue Fields** post-function in Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE) fails to load or displays a blank screen within the *workflow editor*. This behavior is typically caused by insufficient user permissions, specifically the lack of global Jira Administrator rights required by JMWE.

## Problem

The **Set Issue Fields** post-function in Jira Misc Workflow Extensions (JMWE) Cloud fails to load or displays a blank screen within the *workflow editor*.

Checking through the Network logs through the browser developer tools, the following error is shown:

```
Request URL https://jmwe.appfire.app/rest/field/picker/Writable?
Request Method GET
Status Code 403 Forbidden
```

## Cause

The primary cause is a **permission limitation**. JMWE requires **global Jira Administrator** permissions to access certain system details (like field lists) and to configure specific post-functions.

## Solution or workaround

To resolve the loading issue, ensure the user has global Jira Administrator rights:

1. Navigate to **Jira Settings** > **User Management**.
2. Locate the affected user and add them to a group that has the **Jira Administrators** global permission (for example, `site-admins` or `jira-administrators`).

> ℹ️ **Note:** It may take up to 15 minutes for permission changes to propagate to the JMWE app.
