## Summary

Users may encounter a "server IP address could not be found" error when attempting to load JXL for Jira. This typically occurs when a network or browser blocks the Atlassian internal domain used to host JXL resources.

## Problem

When accessing JXL, the application fails to load, and the browser displays the following error message:

`[unique-id].cdn.prod.atlassian-dev.net's server IP address could not be found.`

Example:

`1um1tma-2l7ofmm78l-2fg487tf5e--xh2pv6-1nbrjpfuk2-235x189k9p.cdn.prod.atlassian-dev.net's server IP address could not be found.`

## Cause

JXL static resources, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, have been moved from the legacy `*.jxl.app` domain to an Atlassian internal domain: `*.cdn.prod.atlassian-dev.net`.

If your organization's network, firewall, or proxy settings have not been updated to allow this domain, the browser will be unable to resolve the IP address and load the application resources.

## Solution/workaround

To resolve this issue, ensure that the required Atlassian domains are unblocked within your network environment.

1. Contact your internal IT or network administration team.
2. Request that they unblock the following domain, including all subdomains:
`*.cdn.prod.atlassian-dev.net`
3. If your organization uses a strict allowlist for IP addresses or domains, ensure all standard Atlassian Cloud domains are also permitted.
