### Summary

The **Available Fields** section within the Salesforce configuration page fails to load, preventing users from configuring visible fields for the Jira Issues component. This is often caused by faulty or inactive fields in the connection's configuration.

### Problem

When attempting to configure a connection in a production Salesforce environment, the **Available Fields** section displays a constant loading animation. This prevents the selection or modification of fields displayed in Salesforce.

Symptoms include:

- **Available Fields** section is stuck on a loading spinner.
- The issue persists after clearing browser cache, using different browsers, or incognito mode.
- The same configuration may work correctly in a sandbox environment but fail in production.

### Cause

The loading issue is typically triggered by faulty, inactive, or deleted fields still referenced in the **Available Fields** settings.

### Solution/Workaround

To resolve this issue, you may manually clean up the connection configuration by exporting the settings file, removing the problematic fields, and re-importing it.

#### Part 1: Clean up field configuration

1. In Jira, navigate to **Apps** > **Connector for Salesforce & Jira**.
2. Go to **Connections** and locate the affected connection.
3. Select **Configure**.
4. Click the **Export** button located at the top right of the page to download the configuration JSON file.
5. Open the exported `json` file in a text editor.
6. Locate the `salesforcePackage` section, specifically the `jiraIssueFields` array.
Example:
7. Remove the additional fields, leaving only the default fields (e.g., `issuetype`, `issuekey`, `description`) to test.
8. Save the file.
9. Back in the Jira **Configure** page, use the **Import** option to upload the modified JSON file.
10. Click **Save**.
11. Refresh the Salesforce page to verify the **Available Fields** section in Salesforce now loads correctly.
