### Summary

This article provides a solution for the **Unexpected response code: 400** error encountered when using the *Copy Page Tree *app in Confluence Cloud.

### Problem

When attempting to copy a page tree, the process fails with the following error message:
`Unexpected response code: 400: com.atlassian.confluence.api.service.exceptions.BadRequestException: The copied content tree has conflicting titles. Please specify a title prefix to avoid conflict.`

The pages may copy partially, but the numbering or the full tree structure fails to complete.

### Cause

In Confluence, page titles must be unique within a single space. This error occurs when you attempt to copy a page tree into a space where pages with the same titles already exist.

### Solution

To resolve this issue, ensure that the new page titles are unique by applying a prefix or suffix during the copy process.

1. In the *Copy Page Tree* configuration screen, locate the **Title Options** section.
2. In the **Prefix** field, enter a unique identifier (for example, "Copy_" or a project code).
3. Alternatively, enter a unique identifier in the **Suffix** field.
4. Click **Copy**. The app creates the page tree with the modified titles, avoiding conflicts with existing pages.
