This article addresses an issue where the BigPicture Financial module fails to load, displaying a long error ID instead of the expected content. This behavior was identified as a bug affecting all users within an instance and has been resolved in BigPicture version 8.73.

**Symptoms**
When attempting to navigate to the BigPicture Financial module, the page does not load, and an error message similar to the following is displayed:

"Please refer to the following error id: 6012a67677ca4f4b975e4f4ec332a8019d9e003f42ccfc9f5af80ee0cae172841d9994fb047388c0d1193fb1709298db59da0b14f7403f7baa7c48036e7e1210..."

This issue typically affects all users on the instance and prevents access to any financial data or configuration within the module.

**Cause**
The issue was caused by a software defect within the BigPicture Financial module's loading sequence. The specific error ID generated is a unique identifier for the crash instance in the application logs, which was traced back to a bug in the module's initialization.

**Resolution**
The defect has been officially fixed in BigPicture version 8.73.

Solution: Update BigPicture
To resolve this issue, ensure that your BigPicture Cloud instance is updated to version 8.73 or later.

Navigate to Jira Settings > Apps > Manage apps.

Locate BigPicture or BigPicture Enterprise.

Verify the version number. Cloud instances are typically updated automatically, but you can check the "What's new" section or contact Appfire support if you believe your instance has not yet received the update.

**Workaround**
There is no manual workaround or script available to bypass this error in versions prior to 8.73. The fix requires a code-level update provided in the official release.

**Troubleshooting Steps (If the issue persists)**
If you are on version 8.73 or later and still encounter this error, please gather the following information for Support:

Capture a HAR file:

Open BigPicture in a Chrome incognito tab.

Press F12 (Windows) or CMD + ALT + I (Mac) to open Developer Tools.
